This just in: The Soul Reservoir was nice enough to include their thoughts on our groove in their “Good Music 4 the Low-Low | Economical Edition” article.

Thanks, TSR, for making our day!

summer soulstice

Here’s the latest from the Soulganic Family:

> After more than two years of grinding it out in pre-production, recording, post-production, performing and promoting, Soulganic is taking a well-deserved hiatus. That’s not to say that things are at a standstill. Writing has begun on a new experimental collective project, featuring the members of Soulganic. More to come as it develops.

> ML Caldwell, our Soul Brother #1, was recently featured in University City Magazine. Click here, then go to page 26 to check it out. Also, Souls in Rotation, the debut album from his collective, the MLC3, is set to drop in September. Visit his website for more info.

> Rebecca Loebe has signed a distribution deal with Continental Record Services for European distribution of her latest album, the magnificent Mystery Prize. Check her out here for more details and to see where she’s popping up next.

Also, if you haven’t picked up our new album From the Storm to the Sun, you’re missing out on a good thing! Check us out on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, EMusic, BandCamp, and CDBaby for good grooves to chase the summertime blues.

More news to come soon, so keep it locked.

just another day

… around the way (remember that joint? It was dope.).

Anywho…here’s a couple of things to brighten your day:

• Our new album, From the Storm to the Sun, is available all over the place: on CDBaby (CD) , iTunes (mp3) , and Amazon (mp3) , among other sites. If you’ve heard it (legally or otherwise) and you’ve enjoyed it, please feel free to write a review on any of the above sites. It’ll help spread the word about our groove, and will make your day a little more sunshiny. Thanks!

• Our Soul Brother #1, ML Caldwell, will be laying down his groove with the fierceness this Saturday, May 29 at Diversity Den Cafe, as part of their Band Slam series. Click here for details. Or here.

Till next we speak…

still more reviews & news from the underground

Wsup peeps!

We hope this finds you all doing quite well. Lately things have been quite hectic with us individually, but we’re happy our grooves are slowly making their way through the Music Lovers’ Virtual Nation. Here’s the latest:

New Reviews: From the Storm to the Sun has been reviewed/featured in Urban Mainsteam Magazine and on the site Music Addikts, since the last time we spoke. They’ve had some nice things to say about it, too! Click here to see if we’re telling the truth.

Band News: Lucas Latin Jazz outfit Rhythm + (Rhythm Plus) recently had an AMAZING show at CPCC’s gorgeous Halton Theater. If you haven’t seen these dudes play, you are missing a real treat. Check them out here.

New Video: Yup, we’re in the planning stages for another conceptual video featuring one of the songs from our new album From the Storm to the Sun. Until then, keep checking our YouTube channel for video updates – we’ll be putting one of those collage videos out soon (to share another track from the project – any suggestions, you know what to do).

That’s about it for now. Until next time…

Peace & Luv!
