Wsup earthlings!

What’s going on, you ask? Well, the answer is:

• Our new album “From the Storm to the Sun” has been getting some lovin’ from the interwebs, with the album and tracks from the album currently (or soon to be) featured on the following sites: The Soul Unsigned Radio Show, Soulified, A Funk Above the Rest, The Urban Music Scene, and Bama Love Soul. As a reminder, the album is available for download from Amazon, Napster & Rhapsody and from our BandCamp page.

• Our good friend ML Caldwell just finished up a couple of gigs at Diversity Den, and is also writing, recording and jamming for a future project. Check him out and support his groove!

• Our folky little sister Rebecca Loebe will be gracing Charlotte with her presence on 30 January 2010 at the Evening Muse. Click here for details,

• Lucas’ Latin Jazz outfit Rhythm + will be hitting the stage this spring. Stay tuned for details.

news from the underground

Greetings & Salutations!

Here’s the latest out of the Soulganic Camp:

• Our new album “From the Storm to the Sun” is available for download from Amazon, Napster & Rhapsody. If you download it from any of those sites, it will be in MP3 format. To get the album in pristine lossless WAV format, you can download it from our BandCamp page. If you download the album from there, you will also get a free bonus track, “Lady Lovely.” This track is not available anywhere else and will not be included on the CDs when they arrive.

• Speaking of CDs, we’re working on having those ready for mass consumption by the end of the month, hopefully. More news on that as it comes.

• Also, be sure to visit FromTheStormToTheSun.com, the official site of our new album. There you’ll find all the lyrics, full credits, backstories & more!

Until next time…

closer still

Hey fam!

Hope you all have been well. We’ve been trucking along, enjoying the highs and lows life serves up often, but grateful for it all. Here’s the latest:

• We will host a listening party in celebration of our new release From the Storm to the Sun. The party will be virtual, and hosted on our VIRB profile page: virb.com/soulganic The party will be on Monday, 12/14/09 from 8p – 10p. During that time you’ll be able to hear every track from the album. Our little way of saying thanks for all of the support.

• Don’t forget that the album drops on 12/15/09. It will be available for download here, on our official website. Other outlets will be announced as they are available (iTunes, amazon, napster, rhapsody, etc.) Also, if you live in the Charlotte area, there will be a limited run of physical CDs available – we’ll announce where and when, so keep your ears peeled for that news.

• If you’d like to help us continue to make good grooves for you, you can now donate to the cause.

Thanks again – your passion for real music makes this possible!

Hey peeps!

Just a little note to bring you up to speed. We’ve finally settled on a track order, and are now in the final stages of prepping From the Storm to the Sun for your listening pleasure. We’ll be in touch soon!

it’s here! and the other thing will be here soon!

Hey peeps!

“Let Me Go,” the first single from our new album is now available for download exclusively through ReverbNation. Click here to download it for free. Once there, click on the little arrow pointing down, and follow the directions.

If you’ve already feasted on the single, we’d love to hear what you think of it (good or bad. really.) Connect with us to get it off your chest.

We’re about 95% done with From the Storm to the Sun. We’re still aiming to release the album in November (we’ll let you know if that changes). We’ll be releasing the album digitally (works great for our budget), but if you’d like to obtain a signed copy from a VERY limited run of CDs, connect with us to make it happen.
