our first video!

Hey everyone!

Wanted to let you know that we’ve just completed work on our first video! It’s for our song “Temporary Thrill.” The video is meant as an essay on the cyclical prison of addiction. Check it out here (our site) or here (YouTube) and let us know what you think!

News & Notes:

  • Soul Unsigned has been giving us some more lovin’, this time playing “Temporary Thrill” on it’s syndicated European radio show.
  • A Funk Above the Rest (a syndicated radio show streamed on the internet and broadcast on 89.3FM KUVO in Denver, CO) also gave us some lovin’, playing “Let Me Go” this past Saturday on their show.
  • The first official review of From the Storm to the Sun is in! Check it out here. Did they get it right? You be the judge.
  • Would you like to tell the world what you think about FTSTTS? Head on over to FromTheStormToTheSun.com’s feedback page and give us your two cents!
  • We’ve also received word that FTSTTS will be featured in an  upcoming issue of Charlotte Magazine! We’ll let you know the details as they’re available.
  • “Moment of Truth,” another track from FTSTTS was featured this week on Audiofloss, the official podcast of Carlton Hargro, Editor-In-Chief of Creative Loafing
  • Our soul brother #1 ML Caldwell just had a groovin’ gig at Diversity Den Cafe and will be on the stage again soon. Check out his site for more info.
  • Finally, for those of you jonesin’ for an actual CD of From the Storm to the Sun, they will be available for purchase soon from CD Baby. Stay tuned for more info.

• Our new album “From the Storm to the Sun” is available for download from Amazon, Napster & Rhapsody. If you download it from any of those sites, it will be in MP3 format. To get the album in pristine lossless WAV format, you can download it from our BandCamp page. If you download the album from there, you will also get a free bonus track, “Lady Lovely.” This track is not available anywhere else and will not be included on the CDs when they arrive.
